Planted Surface Consolidation Modules
Jouplast® has developed a range of planted surface consolidation modules for creating green spaces strong enough to cope with vehicle traffic. These modules provide the perfect response to today’s growing interest in reversing soil impermeability and creating greener urban environments. The honeycomb cell structure is designed to allow dense, uniform plant regrowth and optimise natural infiltration of rainwater. These modules are the ideal solution for creating permeable car parks and emergency roads, protecting riverbanks and consolidating equestrian and agricultural surfaces. Ready-to-lay Urbanit® and Greenplac® modules are available pre-planted with turf or sedum.

1. On what types of soil can Jouplast® stabilisation tiles be used ?
Depending on the nature of your soil and the intended use, there are three types of stabilisation available:
- Without foundations : this method is suitable for covered projects on well-drained or load-bearing soil with sufficient slope. It can be used for temporary projects.
- With minimal foundations : this method is recommended for moderately draining and load-bearing soils.
- Conventional foundations : this method is recommended for low-bearing and impermeable soils.
If in doubt, do not hesitate to ask a specialist for a geological analysis (drainage and load-bearing capacity) of your soil.
2. How much weight can Jouplast® stabilising tiles support?
All our slabs can support weights that are perfectly suited to traffic.
Greenplac® can support up to 600 t/m² when filled with grass.
The mechanical strength of our slabs is the fundamental criterion in our development process, ensuring soil stability.
