Edge Finishing Piece for EASIO Decking Riser Pedestal
Single ergonomically designed screw adjuster. 8 integral lugs for convenient millimetre-accurate manual adjustment.
Reinforced for greater compressive strength.
Self-locking grooves for extra ground support.
The diamond-shaped riser pedestal head enables double joisting and easy joist centring.
The base has a chamfered edge to avoid damaging the underlying surface, and multiple drainage holes to prevent water retention.
Patented self-levelling height adjustable (40 to 55 mm) riser pedestal designed for the construction of timber and composite decking for pedestrian use. The many advantages offered by the new EASIO range make it much simpler to build a terrace on rise pedestals.
Firstly, the square flange of this one-piece riser pedestal is designed specifically for easier corner installation.
Its self-levelling diamond-shaped head can be used to: compensate for – or create – gradients of up to 5%, lay double joisting on a single line of riser pedestals, and to use a brace before final fixing.
The two tabs provided on the head also make it easier to centre the joist on the riser pedestal.
The riser pedestal height can be adjusted manually or by using the EASIO/CLEMAN driver bit.
Can be used with the EASIO edge trim clip to lock the riser pedestal self-levelling function.
Facilitates construction of timber and composite decking for pedestrian use. Facilitates construction of decking on uneven or irregular ground.
Compensates for, or can be used to create, gradients of up to 5% on all types of ground. Uses a specially designed system for the clean edging of timber decking.
Enables the laying and centring of joists between 40 and 80 mm wide. Enables double joisting with a single row of riser pedestals.
Decking for pedestrian use only. For outdoor use only.
It is perfectly possible to install these riser pedestals on well-prepared uneven ground. They work equally well on existing concrete slabs, and can be installed immediately adjacent to existing installations with no problem.
The surface on which self-levelling terrace riser pedestals are to be installed should always be prepared in advance. Unprepared ground (e.g. unprepared soil or lawn) may change over time and can be subject to movement, depending on the weight it is required to bear and the weather conditions to which it will be subject (dry periods, heavy rainfall, etc.). For these reasons, it is important to stabilise the ground beneath the terrace to ensure its long-term stability.
All self-levelling riser pedestals have the same maximum permissible load of 1 tonne. Imagine that! One tonne is the weight of an adult giraffe.
