This 3 mm shim is designed specifically for use where minimal packing is required. Each shim is designed to be snapped into 4 sections.
Ideal for packing out all types of timber flooring from decking to boarded floors, and for all interior and exterior joinery work. They also ensure excellent ventilation for timber decking structures by creating a minimum space of 3 mm between the decking board and the joist, as required by French technical standard DTU 51.4.

1. What are Jouplast snappable 3mm flat packers used for?
Jouplast® 3 mm flat packers are designed specifically to meet minimal packing requirements. They also promote excellent ventilation for timber decking structures by creating a minimum gap of 3 mm between the decking board and the joist, as required by French technical standard DTU 51.4. Ultra-strong and with a crush resistance in excess of 2 tonnes, they are able to support heavy loads with no deflection.
