Installation and Application
Terraces for pedestrian and outdoor use only. Not suitable for loose unstabilised ground.
To be installed directly on a concrete slab, tiled terrace or thin screed.
The paving used must be “self-supporting” class T7 or T11, as defined by French standard NF EN 1339, or be rated as F+, as defined by the CSTB (French Construction Industry Scientific and Technical Centre ) QB32 standard.
Where a height extender is required, use the HD10 product.

1. Which types of terrace are extra-flat riser pedestals used for?
Jouplast® extra-flat riser pedestals, such as the Plogom flexible paved terrace riser pedestal, are specifically designed for low-height terraces. They enable construction of a raised slightly terrace with no need for major structural modifications. These slim riser pedestals are ideal for terrace renovation projects and for working in small spaces and small terraces, such as those on balconies.
2. Does the ground need to be prepared before installing ultra-flat riser pedestals?
Yes, it is essential to prepare the ground before installing PLOGOM riser pedestals: for installations on concrete slabs, make sure to remove any debris that could compromise riser pedestal installation and/or stability.
3. Are extra-flat riser pedestals weatherproof and UV-resistant?
Yes! Jouplast extra-flat riser pedestals, such as the Plogom flexible paved terrace riser pedestal, are made from recycled materials. The fact that the material is more eco-friendly does not make them any less weatherproof or UV-resistant; quite the opposite, in fact! They are therefore highly resistant to extreme weather, including frost, and UV.
